Through this association, CAFIM will collaborate with the newly established European organization EMIA \u2013 European Musical Instrument Alliance.\r\n\r\nThe group discussed several important issues, including:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Introducing the MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policy in Europe, with two amendments submitted to the European Parliament;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Establishing a European trade fair for the music industry;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Creating a European sales and product database;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Lowering VAT on musical instruments across Europe;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Supporting and expanding the production of musical instruments in Europe through dedicated programs and expert consultation for various product types.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n&nbsp;\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Claudio Formisano, a member of UNISCA\u2019s board and the Italian representative for CAFIM Europe, joined a working group with Dismamusica.
