Con Art. 15. of the DECREE-LAW 16 September 2024, n. 131, entitled Urgent provisions on copyright – Infringement procedure no. 2017/4092, the Italian legislature has definitively transposed the European Union Directive on Collective Management Companies, extending to the so-called Independent Management Entities (EGI) the right to carry out the activity of intermediation of copyright and related rights on the national territory.
