New Meeting with the Directorate-General for Entertainment

On March 28, 2022, UNISCA met again with Dr. Antonio Parente, the Director-General for Entertainment. This was a chance to strengthen our Organization’s relationship with the Ministry and discuss several important topics: gender equality, emergency support measures for the sector, and ongoing and future reforms (like the Decree Sostegni bis and Bill 2318 – reopening the delegation for the Entertainment Code)

Our Delegate Councilor for Institutional Relations, Maria Letizia Compatangelo, asked that UNISCA be consulted alongside AGIS and CRESCO in the future. President Massimo Pontoriero talked about the practical problems professionals face when applying the new regulations.

The Director was very supportive and listened carefully to our requests. Dr. Parente especially appreciated the report prepared by our association’s Working Group and promised quick action to clarify issues with the involved entities (INPS and INAIL). He also agreed to have another follow-up meeting with UNISCA soon.
