UNISCA Assembly: new tools, new horizons

During the Assembly of 12 March 2025, UNISCA confirmed its vocation: to be an active space of confrontation, representation and shared construction for the world of the performing arts and cultural professions.

One of the focal points is the intense work on the pathways for defining and recognising professions, with the goal of consolidating more than 200 categories at MIMIT by the end of the year and facilitating their full inclusion in national and regional registers. A commitment that starts from the bottom, fuelled by the Working Groups and the sharing of practical tools, such as the new kit for defining professional categories.

UNISCA has also initiated collaborations with young professionals in the fields of graphic design, communication and copywriting, enhancing the potential of Artificial Intelligence as a tool to support, not replace, human skills.

Great attention was also paid to the 2025 communication plan: the monthly newsletter is now active, designed to inform in a simple and transparent way about activities, meetings, webinars and opportunities. Each issue will also give space to the voice of members, to strengthen ties and build new internal synergies.

UNISCA is looking to the future: to open up to new members, to involve the younger generation, to ensure turnover in governance and to tell more and more – also to the outside world – about the value of what we build together.

One step at a time, with vision, method and participation.
