Collaboration between UNISCA and Radio Base 101: a new space for independent artists

UNISCA enthusiastically announces the start of its collaboration with Radio Base 101, a station that has recently become a web radio and is ready to write a new page in the promotion of independent music.

The partnership was born with a clear purpose: to offer visibility to emerging artists through programming designed to enhance talent and originality. Every day, four appointments dedicated to discovering new names will flank the radio’s musical selection, which ranges from contemporary to the great classics of the 80s and 90s.

Radio Base 101 does not stop at audio: thanks to a channel on Amazon Prime Video, it will also be possible to follow original video content, while the social strategy – under development – will focus on TikTok and Instagram to reach younger audiences with trailers and author columns.

The initiative is supported by institutional investors and a network of collaborations that includes Paolo Pagliaro’s agency for press communication, trade associations such as the Tal Show, and Note Legali, an organisation committed to protecting artists’ rights.

An ambitious project is also in the pipeline: an independent music festival in the splendid Venetian setting of the Teatro Malibran, with the patronage of the City Council and a possible revival of the Festival della Canzone di Venezia.

UNISCA, in the role of active partner, will concretely contribute to the growth of the project by providing its know-how and by submitting proposals of selected artists to be included in the programming, both radio and video. The aim is to build together a sustainable and meritocratic ecosystem in which artistic quality finds the right space for expression.

With this new chapter, UNISCA confirms its commitment to the enhancement of culture and talent, accompanying Radio Base 101 on its path to becoming a reference point for the entire Italian independent music scene.
