Unisca – Dismamusica

Claudio Formisano, a member of UNISCA’s board and the Italian representative for CAFIM Europe, joined a working group with Dismamusica. Through this association, CAFIM will collaborate with the newly established European organization EMIA – European Musical Instrument Alliance. The group discussed several important issues, including:
  • Introducing the MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policy in Europe, with two amendments submitted to the European Parliament;
  • Establishing a European trade fair for the music industry;
  • Creating a European sales and product database;
  • Lowering VAT on musical instruments across Europe;
  • Supporting and expanding the production of musical instruments in Europe through dedicated programs and expert consultation for various product types.
