On 6 November 2021 UNISCA was invited to participate in the conference “The Work of Music” in Florence,, organized by I-Jazz with the aim of presenting ideas and proposals for the reform of live entertainment and discussing the opportunities presented by the new delegation for the implementing decrees of the “codes for live entertainment,” envisioning a new system for music and performance.During a fruitful discussion attended by numerous political figures, including the Mayor of Florence, Dario Nardella, and the Honorable Rosa Maria di Giorgi, Alessandra Carbonaro and Federico Mollicone and Senator Riccardo Nencini, our President Massimo Pontoriero presented the newly established organization. He highlighted the publication of the Definition of the Creative, Arts, and Entertainment Sector, which includes an analysis of activities, entities (institutions, businesses, and workers), and cultural production venues. This represents the first building block of the broader Sector Reform proposal that UNISCA has been working on for years.
