On December 21, 2021, UNISCA council members Maria Letizia Compatangelo, Claudio Trotta, and Massimo Pontoriero met with Antonio Parente, Director General of Entertainment at the Italian Ministry of Culture (MIC), alongside senior officials Dr. Miranda and Dr. Franzoni. This meeting was not only an opportunity to formally introduce UNISCA to the Ministry but also a chance to address several urgent issues, such as emergency measures for the sector’s recovery and, most notably, an in-depth analysis of the proposed amendments related to the reopening of the delegation for the Entertainment Code (Draft Bill 2318). During the meeting, the UNISCA delegation submitted comprehensive documentation, with particular emphasis on the proposal for the Definition of the Creativity, Arts, and Entertainment Sector. This proposal, unanimously approved by UNISCA members on December 20, had already been partially incorporated into the draft bills presented by Orfini, Nencini, and Verducci, which were later merged into Draft Bill 2318.
