Cura Italia Decree: New Contributions for Authors and Performing Artis

  A new round of contributions is coming, provided by Article 90 of the “Cura Italia” Decree. These funds are allocated to Authors, Performing Artists, and freelance workers involved in the collection of copyright royalties, granting them 10% of the private copying levy funds. This measure, already implemented over the past two years with regard to the 2019 and 2020 private copying funds, has been extended to include the royalties collected in 2021.More than 12 million euros have been allocated through the decree issued by the Minister of Culture in collaboration with the Minister of Finance (Decree No. 303, July 28, 2022). .
